All Inmate Transport Units have two (2) high volume circulation fans that replace
the interior of air five times per minute. The seats are fully covered with 3-M
skid resistant film for safety. The floors are made of heavy duty .125 gauge treadbrite
aluminum.
Doors are approximately 1 1/4" thick with .125 mill finish aluminum skin over both
sides of a 1" rectangular aluminum square tube to create a sandwich-type secured
construction. All units have an approximate 8"x20" Lexan window for visual control.
We use only stainless steel "Piano" style hinges for maintenance-free opening and closing.
Our rear and side doors are secured with two (2) -each key-lockable T-handle
actuated anti-burst slam locks. Each lock has a 6,000 lb. bursting strength.
There is no access to any door lock from inside the unit.. All interior lights and fans
are installed with a convenient switch control panel .
Units to be shipped are complete with all electrical items pre-installed.
The rear step is included with each unit. The side step is included with all 3-compartment
models. Each step is made of .125 gauge treadbrite aluminum for an anti-slip safety.
Departments that need units to be shipped, will be quoted the lowest priced
shipping charge by a common carrier at the time the order is placed.
Any additions or changes in the design, construction, or numbers of units to meet the agency’s particular need or requirement, will be fairly adjusted in price, either up or down, and reported to the agency prior to placing the order.
